Senior Programs

Suzie and Gary specialize in music for seniors. They have several programs to choose from that are upbeat, fun and engaging.

New in 2007

Let's Go To a Square Dance - a Sitting Square Dance!”
A fun way to experience an old-time square dance for those who can no longer dance standing up. Fun  for those who can stand and dance, too.

"WSCM is on the Air!”
is the

recreation of a 1940 radio show. The residents are part of the studio audience.
Suzie & Gary dress in 1940 costumes and have a backdrop advertising Lemmy Lemonade.

“Heartwarming  Songs of Yesteryear”

is exactly that. Songs that seniors know, such as “Red Wing”, “You Are My Sunshine”, “Springtime in the Rockies” and many others, all played on traditional instruments.

“Westward Ho! Songs and Stories of the Early West” - Suzie & Gary dress in period costume as they present this program.

“Christmas Out West” includes songs such as “Cowboy’s Christmas Ball” and "The Gift". They tell Christmas stories from the early days in the West.

"Cowboy Up!" Cowboy songs, poetry and stories about cowboys and cowgirls

Fun with the Jammin’ Junebugs” - Down home humor and oldtime songs – a little bit corny!
